Ontic's history began in 1951 as an excess inventory distributor--then soon grew to include the repair and overhaul of aircraft accessories. Leveraging its expertise and strong history of aftermarket product support, the company expanded to become a manufacturer of new aircraft assemblies. Ontic received its first OEM license in 1974. Since that time, we have earned licenses for the worldwide manufacturing rights of over 3,000 end units.
