Las Vegas Ontic (Booth N3900), the aerospace industry’s leading performance-driven support provider of OEM legacy products and systems has announced its entry into global component-level MRO support for the King Air Series turboprop aircraft. The King Air support will be managed at Ontic’s Houston, Texas MRO facility and will further expand the company’s presence in the business aircraft arena. It is also Ontic’s first turboprop platform in its extensive product and platform support portfolio.
The initial service offerings include the repair and overhaul of the aircraft’s flight controls and ancillary structures, oxygen containment and distribution systems, environmental and pneumatic controls, as well as mechanical power transfer systems. According to Houston’s general manager, Nicholas Stander, “This is a logical expansion for the Houston operation and Ontic as a whole, as supporting the King Air platform fits well with our core competencies and business model of product life-cycle extension.”
Ontic’s global legacy focus is supported from manufacturing and MRO facilities in Chatsworth, California; Houston, Texas; Slough and Cheltenham in the United Kingdom; and another Ontic location opening in Singapore in 2012.
