Founded in 1951, Ontic currently focuses solely on the support of legacy products through licensing or acquisition — providing OEM-pedigree parts and accessories, as well as repair and overhaul services. Our company knows how to evaluate, acquire, and transition a product line or business quickly and effectively with minimal burden on the licensor or their customers.

Over the last 37 years the company's portfolio has grown to include more than 4,000 top-level parts and assemblies containing over one million component parts used on a range of military, business and commercial aircraft.

Ontic’s business has been built upon the entrusted data rights of OEMs. Without those rights our business would not exist; therefore, Ontic zealously protects those rights. Our experience and long partnerships with the OEMs we serve have been sustained by trust and confidence. Ontic does not design new or derivative products. Consequently there is no competitive threat to our licensors.

The diverse portfolio of Ontic’s licensed legacy products covers a broad range of categories, such as: ECS, control and actuation, hydraulics, electronics, avionics, pneumatics, heat transfer, electric power, and fuel controls.

Ontic’s expertise in the manufacture, procurement and support of legacy products is second to none.
