Manufacturing Engineer
-
The
Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for
planning, coordinating, and guiding the activities
of the manufacturing engineering function and for
seeing new or existing products through satisfactory
production.
-
The
focus in this position is ability to coordinate with
other departments and outside suppliers, to assure
that functional requirements are met on time, at the
expected quality level and at the lowest costs.
-
This includes working from engineering design
documents, specifications, prototypes and/or change
orders to determine equipment, tooling, materials
and methods of manufacture to produce quality
products within cost and specification guidelines.
Duties
and Responsibilities
-
Develop manufacturing planning for new products and
improve/modify existing planning as needed.
-
Design assembly/test tooling and shop aids, as
needed.
-
Develop/modify BOM on new or existing products.
-
Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers for
new or critical processes.
-
Assist Procurement in resolving supplier technical
problems, drawing and specification interpretation.
-
Assist Customer Service and Sales in providing
technical support to customers.
-
Act
as back-up for the Engineering Estimator and assist
in estimating process.
-
Help to trouble-shoot assembly/test related
problems, as required.
-
Understand and participate in
Manufacturing/Production Engineering and development
through the concurrent (teaming) engineering process
daily.
-
Oversee the production processes (including outside
processing) with Quality, as required.
-
Initiate and participate in the drawing change
process (ECR, ECN), as required.
-
Perform technical reviews of RFQ’s and/or purchase
orders as may be required.
-
Act
as mentor, facilitator and educator to internal
customers to foster cross-training, creativity,
teamwork and smooth process flow daily.
-
Manage multiple activities and workload to avoid
bottlenecks daily.
-
Participation in management and department meetings
as required.
-
Participate in MRB as a member
Requirements
-
Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial
Engineering or equivalent.
-
Min. 3 years experience in manufacturing, planning
and fabrication, working with AC/DC motors,
actuators, hydraulic pumps, valves,
electro-mechanical assemblies and accessories.
-
Knowledge of materials, outside processes, NDT and
specifications as related to precision aerospace
components and systems.
-
Knowledge of design/drafting practices, geometric
tolerancing, and proficiency in
reading/understanding mechanical drawings.
-
Effective communication and ability to write clear,
concise technical reports.

Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant is responsible for
creating journal entries, reviewing all journal entries
and supporting transactional data for accuracy, and for
posting transactions to the General Ledger. Record
daily cash receipts and make collection calls to
delinquent customers
Duties
and Responsibilities

Creates trial balance and reviews it for errors,
unusual variances from prior year and from budget.

Creates and enters journal entries and distributes
monthly financial statements.

Performs clerical duties utilizing Visual
Manufacturing integrated ERP software, MS Excel and
MS Word.
Requirements
-
Accounting degree and minimum 3 years experience in
general ledger accounting functions.
-
Advanced 10-key by touch, Word, Excel and
Outlook skills.
