manufacturing license with Goodrich Cargo Systems in
Jamestown, ND.
The
license is for the manufacture and support of the
Upper Cart Lift System used on the 747-400 and 747-8I
Aircraft.
News
of the transaction was released by Robert Sadler,
Ontic's Director of Marketing and Licensor Relations, who
stated "The support of legacy product lines under
license is one of the many benefits Ontic's service
provides to major OEM's like Goodrich. We are pleased
to continue our licensing relationship with Goodrich
Cargo Systems through the addition of this

The
Product will be supported from Ontic's new facility
in Chatsworth, CA. Ontic will begin new production
Cart Lift System deliveries for the 747-8I in late
2009.

signs First License with Goodrich Corporation for
Landing Gear Products

Ontic
Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc., the aerospace
industry's leading producer of OEM-licensed components
and accessories is pleased to announce a manufacturing
license with Goodrich Corporation's Landing Gear
business.
Under
the agreement Ontic will manufacture and support
aftermarket spares for landing gear on the A-6E, AAH/AH-64,
C-2A, E-2C, EA-6B, SH-60B, OV-10 and T-37 aircraft.

According
to Paul Russo, Vice President Military Business &
Landing Gear Services for Goodrich's Landing Gear
business, "The support of more mature product
lines under license enables us to continue to service
our customers with legacy products and systems in a
more cost-effective and time-efficient manner."
Although
Ontic has supported Goodrich since 2002, this is the

Ontic
adds another Fuel Control License with Hamilton
Sundstrand

Hamilton
Sundstrand and Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing,
Inc., have entered into a manufacturing license
agreement for the JFC 54 Afterburner Fuel Control used
on F-4 aircraft. The Agreement is for the operational
life of the aircraft anticipated to be 10 years
minimum.
Ontic
signs First License with Hamilton Sundstrand Power
Systems

20th, Chatsworth, CA
Hamilton
Sundstrand and Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing,
Inc., entered into an exclusive manufacturing and
product support license agreement for the On-Board
Inert Gas Generation System (OBIGGS) used on C-17
aircraft.
The
OBIGGS product is used to pump nitrogen into the empty
space (normally filled with oxygen) of the fuel tank
to avoid explosion should the C-17 military transport
aircraft experience unfriendly fire.
This
is the first license agreement between Ontic and this
division of Hamilton Sundstrand. The Agreement is for
the operational life of the aircraft anticipated to be
10-15 years minimum. Ontic looks
forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship
with Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems.

Ontic
Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc., the aerospace
industry's leading producer of OEM-licensed components
and accessories, has been licensed by Hamilton
Sundstrand for the support of the JFC31 Fuel Controls. The latest
agreement between the two companies was signed on June 27,
2007.
This
hydro-mechanical Jet Fuel Control is used on the T55
engine which supports the CH47 helicopter platform. It
joins the fuel controls Ontic currently supports for
Hamilton Sundstrand; the JFC25, JFC26, & JFC42
used on the T55, T58, T64, JT3D, TF-33, and
J-57 engines. These engines are used on the S-61,
CH46, and MH53 helicopter platforms and the B707, DC8, B-52, KC-135, C-141 and EA-6B
fixed wing platforms.
The

corporation BBA Group PLC had acquired
privately-held Ontic.
As
is well known in the aviation industry, Ontic is a

APS-133, RDR-1E, and RDR-1F high performance weather
detection and avoidance, terrain mapping and beacon
homing radars are installed on a number of military

C-130, KC-130, C-141, P-3, C-5A/B, E-3, E-4, E-6, E-8,

synchrophaser and synchronizer product lines of
Woodward Governor Company (nasdaq: WGOV). These
products are for reciprocating, turboprop, and
turbofan engines.
Ontic's
General Manager and Chief of Operations James Gerwien

acquisition or exclusive license. We will provide the

The 3 (Three) products
are out of Honeywell's Tucson, AZ facility. They are
Analog and Digital Electronic Engine Controls. The
products are used on the TFE731 Engine and support the
following Business Aircraft: Astra 1125, Citation III
& VI, Falcon 10, 20-5, 50, and 900, Hawker 400,
600, 700, and 800, Learjet 31, 35, and 36, and the
Westwind 1124 to name a few.

has been licensed by Hamilton Sundstrand to assume the
manufacture and strategic support of their JFC26 and
JFC42 Fuel Controls. The latest agreement between the
two companies went into effect on May 27, 2002.
The JFC26 Fuel Control is used on the T58 engine
with commercial and military applications that include
Sikorsky S61, S62; Boeing CH46; and Sea King
Helicopters. The JFC 42 is used on the T64 engine with
commercial and military applications that include DHC
5, MH53 series, and G222 Helicopters.

effective May 1, 2002, was completed with Aircraft
Engine Systems, a Woodward business.

The products are out of Honeywell's Torrance, CA facility. They include Radar Liquid Coolers,
Fans and Blower Assemblies. The product applications include E2C Hawkeye, Hawkeye 2000, Sikorsky S-76, Bell 206, AV8B Harrier, AWACS, UH1, and CH46 aircraft. The news was released by Robert Sadler, Ontic's director of marketing
and licensor relations, who stated "The addition of these products to our already large licensing relationship with Honeywell is a win for both our licensor and their customers. Licensing enables Honeywell to focus on its core business while continuing to provide their customers with excellent service."
Ontic enhances Sustaining Engineering Capability

Chatsworth, California – Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc., the aerospace industry’s leading producer of OEM-licensed components and accessories, has hired Jan Hiszpanski as their new Director of Engineering. News of the addition of Mr. Hiszpanski to the Ontic team was released today by Ontic’s marketing manager, Robert Sadler, who stated: "The incorporation of this new level of expertise into our sustaining engineering department greatly enhances Ontic’s ability to support the older or non-core products of our licensors. Having a design engineer directing our staff enables Ontic to support higher levels of complexity"
Mr. Hiszpanski has extensive experience in engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing of aerospace accessories. He has an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School in Warsaw, Poland, and continued a Ph.D. program in Mechanical and Structural Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and UCLA, Anderson Graduate School of Management.
Ontic’s sole focus is the support of aerospace accessories under license. Ontic does not design or develop products. According to Ted Allred, Ontic’s president " The fact that Ontic does not design product has always been a great comfort to our licensors, ensuring them that we are not a competitor. The addition of a design engineer to our staff will increase our licensor’s comfort level, as it enhances our technical capability and expands the level of support that we can provide through licensing.
Ontic announces new manufacturing License with Honeywell

- Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. has announced the signing of a new manufacturing license with Honeywell. The products being licensed are a total of 73 end units for use on military and commercial aircraft. The products were previously manufactured by Honeywell's Ocala Florida facility. The product types include Motor Driven Fan Assemblies, Heat Exchangers, Fuel Heaters, & Oil Coolers. News of the transaction was released today by Ontic's marketing manager, Robert Sadler, who stated: "The support of older, slow moving product lines under license is one of the many benefits Ontic's service provides to major OEMs like Honeywell. We are pleased to continue our licensing relationship with Honeywell through the addition of these new products." Ontic will now produce the units from it's new location in Chatsworth, CA where the company relocated to in June of this year.

Ontic announces License Agreement with Eaton Corporation.

- Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. has announced a license agreement with the Actuator and Controls Division, (formerly Vickers Electromechanical Division) of Eaton Corporation Aerospace Operations. The new license agreement covers four different actuators, power drive units, and linear flex shafts for use on the Embraer 110 commuter aircraft, the Bombardier Challenger business jet, the L1011 commercial aircraft and the F-117A stealth fighter. Under the terms of the agreement the units will now be produced by Ontic from its North Hollywood, CA, facility.
Ontic is Licensed by Eaton Corporation to Manufacture Hot Air Valves
