At Ontic, we have an active and passionate Corporate Responsibility (CR) team who are dedicated to supporting local charities and helping out in the community. From preparing food parcels to throwing pies, our CR efforts help us truly make a difference by raising money for our local communities.
We give all employees the opportunity to participate in CR efforts, balancing your day-to-day responsibilities with philanthropic activities! If employees want to do something outside of work, we’ll support them in giving back to their local community.
Here are just some of the many CR activities that our teams have been involved in:
Over 40 Ontic employees raised an impressive £2,000 for cancer support charity, Maggies. We braved the Eastnor Castle Mud Bath and got (very) dirty, with many of us running in memory of a lost loved one.
Volunteers from Ontic's CR team joined forces with local charity CCP to prepare food parcels for those in need in our community. CCP's 'Hamper Scamper' campaign seeks to relieve some of the financial and emotional burdens of Christmas on families and individuals who are already struggling, by relying on the generosity of our community for donations of basic food items to festive provisions, including quality gifts for children.
We raised $1,304 during a celebratory field day in which pies and water balloons were thrown at Ontic managers. All proceeds were donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
One of our US employees completed the challenging 60-mile Susan G Komen mission. The walk took a total of 3 days to complete and raised an impressive $3,548 for the charity in honor of a close friend, which invests in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
