Meeting Future Industry Needs

Future Capabilities

One of Ontic's greatest strengths is our ability to successfully bring new technologies, capabilities, and product lines into our business.

Our proven approach to rapidly learning, integrating, and industrialising complex aerospace products enables us to expand beyond a fixed set of technical disciplines. With deep engineering expertise and a structured transition process, we can seamlessly acquire, support, and sustain a diverse range of aerospace systems while maintaining the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer support.

This ability to continuously grow and diversify our portfolio allows us to respond to evolving customer needs while creating long-term value by ensuring critical products remain available for a lifetime of flight.

Ever-Evolving Support & Sustainment

As OEMs continue to invest in next-generation technologies and platforms, the need to support, maintain, and evolve mature systems never disappears. At Ontic, our business model is designed around this reality.

The aerospace industry is continuously evolving and innovating; new technologies emerge, OEMs invest heavily in innovation, products enter service, and eventually strategic focus shifts toward the next generation of platforms. Yet airlines, operators, defense organizations, and maintenance providers still depend on the reliability and availability of existing systems for decades.

This transition point - where a product remains mission-critical but no longer aligns with an OEM's future investment priorities - is where Ontic is able to step in and help OEMs invest in the future of flight while delivering for operator and airframer customers.

Proven Success In Onboarding New Capabilities

Over the years, Ontic has successfully established world-class sustainment capabilities across electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and hydraulics and pneumatics. Each acquisition has strengthened our technical depth while demonstrating our ability to absorb complex intellectual property, manufacturing processes, supply chains, regulatory requirements, and engineering expertise.

Our most recent capability expansion came from the acquisition of our Staverton facility in 2021 where we onboarded hydraulic and pneumatic capability for the first time.

“The technologies will change, the platforms will evolve, OEM priorities will continue to shift toward the next innovation cycle - what remains constant is the need to support the products already in service.

That's where Ontic will always ensure we have the capabilities to support our customers' future sustainment needs.”
