Ontic Signs Five-Year Global Component Repair Agreement with Air France KLM Engineering & Maintenance.

Air France KLM Group Ontic MRO

Ontic, a leading global aerospace OEM, has signed a landmark suite of agreements with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), covering component repair and overhaul.

These agreements build on an existing five-year global repair and overhaul agreement, effective from October 2025, which covers component maintenance services across Ontic’s full portfolio, supporting AFI KLM E&M’s internal operations and its airline customers. The scope includes Ontic-owned and licensed products for Boeing 777, Airbus A320 and A330, and Embraer jets.

The enhanced partnership provides AFI KLM E&M with direct access to Ontic’s services, ensuring direct support from the OEM, which offers numerous advantages - including cutting-edge repair technologies, genuine OEM parts, and expert technical support - helping to minimise fleet downtime and keep aircraft operational for longer.

Repairs will be carried out at Ontic’s new MRO facilities in Miramar, Florida and Tewkesbury, UK, strengthening regional support and responsiveness.

“Expanding our partnership with AFI KLM E&M across repairs, spares and in-house service centre support is a pivotal step for Ontic as we grow our global footprint and deepen our direct partnerships with major airlines,” said Jack Karapetyan, Senior Vice President of Global MRO for Ontic. “We are proud to support AFI KLM E&M’s operations worldwide with OEM-backed solutions that enhance reliability, efficiency, and long-term value.”

These agreements reflect Ontic’s long-term strategy to collaborate directly with airlines and MRO providers, delivering OEM expertise, improved turnaround times, and global support to the aviation industry.
